Gutter Cleaning in Kent
Gutter vacuum clearance from ground level, reaching up to around three storeys.
Blocked gutters usually announce themselves in the same way: water sheeting over the front edge in heavy rain, a green stripe down the render, or a persistently damp patch on a wall. The cause is almost always the same — leaves, moss washed down off the roof and silt sitting in the channel.
We clear gutters with a professional gutter vacuum system. Carbon poles reach the guttering from the ground, up to approximately three storeys where the site suits, and the debris is drawn straight into the machine rather than dropped into your borders.
What the job includes
- Vacuum clearance of leaves, moss, silt and general debris
- Downpipe outlets checked and cleared where accessible
- Camera inspection of the cleared run on request
- Debris removed from site — nothing tipped into the garden
- Ground level working where access allows, avoiding ladders
- Reports of any visible damage, sagging or missing brackets
What we clear
- Leaves and needles
- Moss washed down from the roof
- Silt and roofing grit
- Nesting material and general debris
- Blocked gutter outlets and hopper heads
Why it is done this way
What you get with our gutter cleaning
Mess-free method
Debris goes into the vacuum, not onto the patio, path or planting below.
Ground level access
Most gutters can be reached from the ground with poles, which avoids ladders leaning on your guttering.
Up to around three storeys
The pole system reaches approximately three storeys where the ground conditions and access allow.
Helps prevent overflow problems
Clear gutters carry water to the downpipe instead of over the edge — which is what causes staining, damp walls and saturated borders.

Questions
Gutter Cleaning FAQs
How often should gutters be cleared?
Once a year suits most homes. Properties with overhanging trees, or a mossy roof shedding into the gutters, are often better done twice — late autumn and again in spring.
Can you clean gutters without ladders?
In most cases, yes. The gutter vacuum works from the ground using carbon poles, so we only need ladders or powered access where a run genuinely cannot be reached.
How high can you reach?
Approximately three storeys with the pole system, subject to safe ground conditions and access. Higher or awkward elevations can be quoted using powered access.
Will clearing my gutters stop damp?
It removes one very common cause of it. Overflowing gutters soak walls, and clearing them stops that — but damp can have other causes, so we will not claim it fixes everything.
Do you take the debris away?
Yes. It goes into the machine and leaves with us.

Advice worth reading first
How often should you clean your gutters?
Most Kent homes need gutters cleared once a year. Heavy tree cover, a shallow roof pitch or a history of overflow pushes that to twice.
Seven signs your roof needs cleaning
Moss holding water against tiles, debris in the valleys and a gutter that keeps blocking are the three that matter most.
What affects the cost of exterior cleaning?
Size is only one input. Access, contamination level, surface type and the finishing work usually account for the difference between two quotes on the same house.
