Exterior cleaning in Bearsted

Driveway cleaning, patio cleaning, gutter clearing and roof cleaning in Bearsted — plus softwashing, render, conservatory and solar panel cleaning — from one fully insured local team.

Bearsted and Weavering sit under a lot of mature tree cover, and that is the single biggest factor in the work we do here. Shaded, damp roof slopes moss up faster than they do a mile down the road, and everything that comes off the roof ends up in the guttering. Most Bearsted jobs are roof moss removal and a gutter clear booked together.

What we clean in Bearsted

Manual roof moss removal followed by a biocide treatment — the correct method on shaded, tree-covered slopes.
Gutters cleared from the ground with vacuum poles, including the downpipes that fill with needles and leaf litter.
Block paving and Indian sandstone patios around the Madginford and Weavering estates lifted back to colour.
Fascias and soffits washed by hand where green algae has built up on the shaded elevations.

Local questions

Exterior cleaning in Bearsted, answered

Do you cover Bearsted and the surrounding villages?

Yes — Bearsted village and the Green, Weavering, Madginford, Thurnham, Detling and Hollingbourne. It is a few minutes from our Maidstone base, so it is one of our most regular runs.

Why does moss come back so quickly on Bearsted roofs?

Mature tree cover. Shade keeps the tiles damp for far longer after rain, and that is exactly the condition moss needs. Removing the moss alone is only half the job here — a biocide treatment afterwards is what slows the regrowth.

Will you pressure wash my roof?

No. We remove moss by hand and treat the roof with a biocide. Pressure washing a tiled roof strips the surface of the tile, drives water under the laps and shortens the life of the covering.

How often should gutters be cleared under trees?

Once a year is enough for most properties. Where there are overhanging trees directly above the run — common along Weavering Street and the older parts of the village — twice a year keeps them from overflowing down the wall.

“I can’t believe the change to the patio and paths surrounding the house! It has been transformed from a dull and depressing monotone with all kinds of dirt and growths in a matter of hours. Rez was a pleasure to have around, very polite and professional.”
