Rez, founder of UP Exterior Cleaning

UP Exterior Cleaning is run by Rez, a 24-year-old business owner based in Maidstone, covering roof, gutter, driveway and exterior cleaning across Kent and the surrounding counties.

A few years ago, Rez's grandfather suffered a sudden stroke at home in Kent. The Kent, Surrey & Sussex (KSS) Air Ambulance crew that responded gave him critical care on scene before airlifting him to King's College Hospital. He didn't recover — but the family has never forgotten what that crew did for him.

Earlier this year, Rez visited the KSS Air Ambulance base and saw first-hand the scale of what it takes to keep that service running — and the funding it depends on. He's since committed UP Exterior Cleaning to an ongoing fundraising partnership with the charity, which responds to around nine emergency call-outs a day across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
